Maya: Hidden Worlds Revealed

Returning to the Science Museum of Minnesota for the first time since its debut in 2013, Maya: Hidden Worlds Revealed welcomes a new generation of visitors to explore a fascinating culture through more than 200 authentic artifacts and immersive environments. This exhibit runs from Oct. 7, 2023 through Sept. 4, 2024

In-person Lecture

We’re really excited to share  this upcoming lecture.  A Prairie Love Affair,  An Illustrated talk by C. Thomas Shay, P.h.D. ” A Deep History of the Prairies and Their Native Peoples” From Dinosaurs to Tanka Bars,  May 7th at 7:00pm, Kellogg Center. Tom’s recently-published book, Under Prairie Skies, covers the plants and Native peoples of the northern plains. Copies will be on sale. The MAC 2024 Annual Meeting will be October 16-19.  This year’s theme for the conference is Inspiring Students. A series of programs, workshops, and tours are being designed to engage the next generation of archaeologists.
